Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming
vlp2 is committed to providing a safe, transparent, and enjoyable online gaming environment for every player in Bangladesh. We recognise that for a small number of players, gambling can move beyond entertainment and become a source of harm. Our responsible gaming programme exists to identify risk early, provide practical tools, and connect players with help when they need it most.
Our approach is built on three pillars: prevention — making it easy for players to set sensible limits before problems arise; intervention — monitoring play patterns and reaching out when our systems detect potential risk; and support — providing clear pathways to help whether that means a short time-out or a formal self-exclusion.
Responsible gaming is not a box-ticking exercise at vlp2 — it is a core operating principle that informs product decisions, staff training, and how we communicate with players every day. We are continuously reviewing and improving the tools and policies described on this page.
Age Restriction — 18+ Only
vlp2 strictly prohibits access by anyone under the age of 18. This is a non-negotiable policy applied universally across all games, betting markets, promotions, and platform features. Participation in online gambling by minors is illegal and causes serious harm.
Age Verification at Registration
Every player who registers a vlp2 account is required to confirm that they are 18 years of age or older at the point of sign-up. vlp2 reserves the right to request identity documentation — including a National ID Card, Passport, or Driving Licence — to verify a player's age at any stage of the account lifecycle, including before processing any withdrawal.
Protecting Minors at Home
If you share a device or household with someone under 18, we strongly encourage you to take the following steps to prevent accidental or deliberate access to the vlp2 platform:
- Always log out of your vlp2 account when you are not actively using it, especially on shared or family devices.
- Never share your login credentials, PIN, or password with anyone — including family members.
- Consider using parental control software on shared devices to restrict access to gambling websites. Reputable options used by Bangladeshi families include NetNanny, Bark, and the built-in parental controls on Android and iOS devices.
- Store any written passwords or account recovery details in a location that is inaccessible to minors.
Recognising the Warning Signs
Problem gambling rarely announces itself suddenly. It typically develops gradually and can be difficult to recognise from the inside. The questions and indicators below are designed to help you reflect honestly on your relationship with gambling. If several of these resonate with you, please consider using the vlp2 self-exclusion tool or reaching out to a support organisation.
The more of these questions you answered "yes" to, the more important it is to take action now. Please scroll down to the Self-Exclusion or Support Resources sections for immediate next steps.
Behavioural Warning Signs by Category
| Category | Warning Signs to Watch For |
|---|---|
| Financial | Unexpected overdrafts, unexplained missing funds, requests to borrow money, unpaid bills despite regular income |
| Behavioural | Secretiveness about time spent online, mood swings linked to wins and losses, irritability when unable to access gambling |
| Psychological | Preoccupation with gambling outcomes, gambling to escape negative emotions, irrational belief that a "big win" is imminent |
| Social | Withdrawing from friends and family, neglecting hobbies, missing important events to gamble, lying about whereabouts |
Responsible Gaming Tools on vlp2
All of the following tools are available directly within your vlp2 account. To access them, log in and navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming. Changes to limits and exclusions that restrict your play take effect immediately. Changes that increase your play allowance are subject to a mandatory cooling-off period to prevent impulsive decisions.
Self-Exclusion at vlp2
Self-exclusion is one of the most important tools available for players who feel gambling has become a serious problem. vlp2 operates a straightforward self-exclusion process that can be initiated at any time — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including during Eid, Pohela Boishakh, or any other holiday period.
How to Self-Exclude
- Log in to your vlp2 account and go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion.
- Select your preferred exclusion duration: 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, or 5 years.
- Confirm your identity by entering your account password.
- Receive a confirmation email at your registered address within 15 minutes confirming the exclusion is active.
Alternatively, if you are unable to log in or need immediate assistance, email support at vlp2.net with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". Include your registered email address, username, and chosen duration. Our team will apply the exclusion manually within 2 hours of receiving your message.
What Happens During Self-Exclusion
- Your account is immediately suspended — you cannot log in, deposit, or wager.
- All bonus offers, promotional emails, and marketing communications are permanently halted for the duration of the exclusion.
- Any pending withdrawals that were already approved before the exclusion will be processed normally via bKash, Nagad, or Rocket.
- Account funds remain safe and are held in trust for the duration of the exclusion period.
- Attempting to open a new vlp2 account during an active self-exclusion period is a breach of our Terms & Conditions. Any account opened in this way will be closed immediately upon identification.
Reactivating After Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion periods do NOT end automatically. Once your chosen period has expired, you must send a written reactivation request to support at vlp2.net. Our responsible gaming team will conduct a brief welfare check and apply a mandatory 24-hour reflection period before reactivating your account. This deliberate friction is designed to ensure the decision to return to gambling is considered, not impulsive.
Deposit & Spending Limits
Setting financial limits is a proactive step that experienced, responsible gamblers take to keep entertainment spending within their means. vlp2 makes it simple to set and manage these limits at any time. We strongly encourage every player — regardless of their current gambling habits — to set at least one limit as a baseline safeguard.
Deposit Limit Guidelines
When setting a deposit limit, consider the following approach used by many experienced players in Bangladesh:
- Entertainment budget principle: Treat your deposit limit as a monthly entertainment budget — similar to what you might spend on cinema tickets, dining out, or other leisure activities. A figure between ৳1,000 and ৳5,000 per month is common for casual players.
- Start conservative: It is far easier to increase a limit later than to deal with the consequences of overspending. Begin with a lower limit and adjust upward only after a few months of consistent, comfortable play.
- Never gamble with essential funds: Your deposit limit must never encroach on money set aside for rent, food, utilities, school fees, or family obligations. Gambling is funded from discretionary income only.
Cooling-Off Periods
To protect players from making impulsive decisions in the heat of the moment, vlp2 applies a mandatory cooling-off period when a player requests an increase to their existing deposit or loss limit. The table below shows the limits and corresponding cooling-off periods:
| Action | Cooling-Off Period |
|---|---|
| Lowering any limit | Immediate — takes effect within 1 minute |
| Increasing a deposit limit | 7 days from the time of request |
| Increasing a loss limit | 7 days from the time of request |
| Removing a limit entirely | 7 days from the time of request |
| Ending a time-out (before it expires) | Not permitted — time-outs run their full duration |
Support Resources
If you believe gambling is becoming a problem for you or someone you care about, you do not have to face it alone. vlp2 actively encourages players to reach out — to us, to a trusted person in their life, or to an independent support organisation. There is no shame in seeking help; it is the most sensible and courageous step a player can take.
Contact vlp2 Support
Our responsible gaming support team is available around the clock. Email us at support at vlp2.net with the subject line "Responsible Gaming Support". We will respond in English and treat all communications with complete confidentiality.
Talking to Someone You Trust
Sometimes the first and most important step is simply talking to a family member, close friend, or community leader you trust. In Bangladesh, many families have strong support networks — a conversation with a trusted elder, a sibling, or a spouse can be the catalyst for positive change. You do not need to face this alone.
Independent Gambling Support
The following international and regional organisations provide free, confidential support for people affected by problem gambling:
- Gamblers Anonymous (Global): A peer support fellowship following a structured 12-step recovery programme. Meeting schedules and online groups available at gamblersanonymous.org.
- GamCare (UK-based, English language): Provides counselling, support forums, and a self-help toolkit accessible to players worldwide at gamcare.org.uk.
- BeGambleAware: Offers a range of self-assessment tools and access to trained advisors via begambleaware.org.
- National Mental Health Helpline (Bangladesh): Kaan Pete Roi operates a dedicated mental health and emotional support helpline accessible from within Bangladesh for individuals experiencing distress.
Our Staff & Training
Responsible gaming is not just a policy document at vlp2 — it is embedded in how every member of our team operates. All customer-facing staff receive mandatory training in recognising the signs of problem gambling and in how to respond with empathy, accuracy, and appropriate signposting.
What Our Team Is Trained to Do
- Recognise behavioural indicators of problem gambling in customer communications, including language patterns that suggest distress, loss-chasing behaviour, or disproportionate emotional investment in outcomes.
- Apply account-level interventions — including temporary restrictions and mandatory cooling-off contacts — when monitoring systems flag unusual play patterns.
- Respond to self-exclusion and limit-setting requests within the required timeframes without applying pressure or incentivising players to reconsider.
- Refer players to appropriate external support resources in a non-judgmental, supportive manner.
- Maintain complete confidentiality in all responsible gaming interactions — no responsible gaming support request is ever shared with marketing or commercial teams.
System Monitoring
vlp2 operates an automated responsible gaming monitoring system that runs continuously in the background. This system analyses play data — including session length, frequency of play, deposit velocity, and the ratio of losses to deposits — to generate risk scores for individual accounts. When a risk threshold is crossed, our responsible gaming team receives an alert and initiates a proactive welfare check with the player.
Players who receive a welfare check are not penalised or singled out. The check is a private, supportive communication — typically an email — asking how the player is doing and reminding them of the tools available. Players are never pressured during a welfare check and may decline to engage if they choose.
